The reconstruction of the railway station.

As stated on the official website of Siechnice Municipality, as part of a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under Action 5.2 "Railway Transport System," Sub-action 5.2.2 "Railway Transport System - ZIT WrOF" of the Regional Operational Program of Lower Silesia 2014-2020, three railway stations located in Siechnice Municipality will undergo reconstruction. The stations include Siechnice, Święta Katarzyna, and Żerniki Wrocławskie - Smardzów.

In Żerniki Wrocławskie, the planned functions include passenger service and railway operations.
